Value tokens are similar to the Bitcoins, security tokens are same as the stocks, and utility tokens are tokens which are authorized for specific uses.
What are altcoins?
Altcoins refers to non-Bitcoin cryptocurrencies. It got the prefix ‘alt’ as a short form for alternative of Bitcoin. Namecoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Ethereum, and USD coin are some of the examples of altcoins.
Most altcoins are built on the same structure as Bitcoin. They share similar characteristics, but each coin has a different thing to offer to their investors. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that was created. It was created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, a pseudonym for the creators of Bitcoin cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency with Ether standing just behind it. It is also created in a similar manner using the complex and time consuming process called proof of work, which was used to create Bitcoins. The creators of Ether has not set any limit in the number of creations of Ether.

Cardano or ADA

Binance can be said as one of the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchanges. Binance coin or BNB is the cryptocurrency token of Binance and was used as a medium of exchange of Binance platform. Binance was built on Ethereum platform initially, but now Binance is an independent blockchain network.
It was created in 2017. At that time, it was designed as a utility token which allowed traders to get discounts on trading fees on Binance platforms. Now it can be used for payments, travel bookings, entertainment, online and financial services.
Binance coins was built on a maximum of 200 million coins of which around 100 million Binance coins were made available to investors during its Initial Coin Offerings. In order to drive the demand of BNB, every quarter they destroy some Binance coins by buying it back. It has destroyed 1.29 million Binance coins as of July 2021.
Tether is the first crypto coin to be sold as a ‘stable coin’. Stable coins are a breed of crypto called fiat-collateralized stablecoins. The value of tether is measured in a fiat currency. Tether was designed to offer stability, transparency, and lower transaction charges like other stablecoins.
It is commonly used by investors who wants to get rid of the extreme volatility of the crypto market. Tether is not a speculative investment. Though tether is pegged to US Dollars, tethers cannot be exchanged for US dollars. It maintains a 1:1 value with US dollars but there is no guarantee provided by Tethers, Ltd. for any redemption of tethers.
Solana is a blockchain network which have Sol as its native cryptocurrency. Sol is generated on Solana blockchain platform. It is among the most volatile currencies. The presence of Sol in crypto market is increasing steeply. This is because that Solana has taken large steps in decentralized finance.
Solana mainly focuses on smart contracts technology which is a set of programs that run on the platform based on preset conditions like paper contracts without the middlemen. Solana create the non-fungible token called ‘Degenerate Ape Academy’. This non-fungible token was launched in August 2021.

Is XRP and Ripple the same?
No, Ripple and XRP are not the same though they are used interchangeably by some people. XRP is a cryptocurrency developed by the Ripple network, whereas Ripple is the blockchain platform on which XRP is generated.

Polkadot ( DOT )
The co-founder of Ethereum, Gavin Wood, is the co-founder of Polkadot. It was designed to increase the capabilities of block chain technology. Dot is the cryptocurrency of Polkadot network.
Polkadot employs two blockchains: relay and parachain. Relay network is the main network, and the transactions are permanent in this network. Parachain is a parallel network of user created blockchains. USD ( USDC )
USD coin is a stablecoin which runs on blockchain platforms like Ethereum. USD coin is pegged to US dollars like Tether. This means that one USDC is one US dollar. Stable coins like USDC makes transactions easier, cheaper, and faster. USDC is more transparent unlike Tether as the reserves are monitored by American arm of Grant Thornton LLC, which is a global accounting firm. There are nearly 24 billion USDC in circulation now.

How to use the Google Street View?
Using Google Street View on PC / desktop
Step 1: Open Google Maps on your web browser. Google Street View is a function of Google Maps and therefore you can access it only as a part of it. You can also access Google Street View by using Google Earth.
Step 2: Focus on the location you want to see. Get to the location by moving your cursor through the map, or by directly searching for it in the search bar. You can left click the mouse to navigate around the map and reach the location you wish. If you find your location after navigating through the map, you can pin it by double clicking on the point, and if you have found your location by search click, it will be automatically pinned for you.
Step 3: When you have found the location you can activate the street view. The steps to carry out while activating the street view depends on how you have reached to the location. Below are some of the options you can go for.
- When you have reached the location through a search result, the location has already been pinned for you and has been placed on the map. By clicking on the images that appear in the information box you can activate street view.
- You can drag and drop the Pegman to the point for which you want street view. When you long click on the Pegman, the map shows blue lines for areas that have street view. For buildings with indoor access on map, a yellow color will appear on it, whereas for scenic spots there will blue circle. Some updated versions directly goes to the street view layer once the Pegman is clicked.
What is a Pegman?
Pegman is a drag and drop icon used by Google Maps to activate the street view feature. It is the primary user interface element which can get you to the street view layer. It is named Pegman after a close resemblance with clothes peg. When Pegman is in rest, it can be found near the zoom controls of Google Maps.
- If you have used the explore bar to get to the location, you can click on the arrow icon in the explore bar which will show you locations near to your place. By clicking on those photos, you can access the Google Street View.
- When you go for zoom to the closest level, it will activate the Google Street View. But this happens only if the street view is available for the location.
Step 4: Now that the street view has been activated for you, you can walk through the streets, enter buildings, and have a look at their interiors and enjoy the time using Google Street View. You can navigate through the streets by clicking and dragging your mouse through the screen. While moving around you can see arrow marks on roads, when you click on it, the map takes you towards that direction.
Using mobile application
Step 1: Open Google Maps on your smart device. If you use the application on the go, the street view feature is going to help you really well. You can know well about a destination before actually going there by going through this application. As long as you have a data connection, you can get access to the street view on any Google Map application.
Step 2: In order to access the street view, first you need to mark or pin the location of your choice. You can long press on a location to mark it, or if you have found the location through search result, you already have your location marked for you.
Step 3: After a marker has been placed, the address of that particular location will be displayed at the bottom of the map on a bar. Swiping up on the bar will give you a choice to save or share the screen that is being displayed. If the street view is available for your location, images will be displayed on the bar. If you have not marked any place, you cannot get the street view, also if the marked point is very distant from the roads, you need to push the point near some road to get the street view.
Step 4: You can now open the street view by clicking on the photos given and then the display will show images that are 3600. You have to be online for this to happen.
Step 5: You will be able to move around the screen by moving your fingers around the screen. The screen will move opposite to the direction of your finger. You can have a look around by tapping on the look around icon to make sure you are in the right destination. By tapping on the arrows on the intersections, you can move around giving you a feeling of driving around the streets.
